We are currently accepting applications for the Fall 2018 semester.  Students will be reviewed and considered for admission after all documents are submitted.  Click on the application process that applies to you:

New Incoming Bachelor's Degree Students

NEW Undergraduate applicants must submit the online interest form below to begin the application process.  After submitting the interest form, please send a copy of your NYPD ID to  Returning undergraduate students may click on the readmission link below to readmit.

New Incoming Master's (Non-Degree) Students

Graduate non-degree applicants must following the instructions below:

  • Submit online application
  • Create an account by clicking, "Create Account"
  • After creating an account, click on, "User Login" and enter your new Username and Password
  • Select "non-degree" as enrollment type
  • Select "NYPD Leadership Program" for the program selection.
  • Send proof of graduation (copy of college transcript with graduation date OR copy of diploma) AND copy of NYPD UMOS ID via email at, after submitting online application.

**Application fees, letters of recommendation and essays are not required.**

Continuing Readmit (Returning) Students

Undergraduate students who stopped attending John Jay College for one semester or more and have not completed their degree, may submit the online readmission application.  After receiving your readmission acceptance via email, please contact the NYPD Leadership Administrative Assistant, Rockel Corbett at for Leadership Program registration information.

Graduate non-degree students who stopped attending John Jay College for one semester or more, may complete the Readmission Application and send the completed form via email to Christel Lytwyn at  Graduate students enrolled in a graduate program should submit the online readmission application and may contact Rockel Corbett at for additional information.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Applications will not be processed until all supporting documents are submitted.   Complete applications may take up to 3 weeks to process.  Submitting a complete application does not guarantee a seat in the program. Therefore, it is important to submit an application and supporting documents as early as possible, as registration is on a first come, first served basis.
